Dickey, we are so sorry for your loss. It was such a privilege Togo to church with you and Shirley at Trinity. Where there was one there was the other. He will be deeply missed. But know she is face to face with Jesus and no more pain. I pray that God will give you strength during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your daughter.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. I can
remember Shirley and Dickie going to my mother-inlaws house with gifts and music. I always admired
Shirley and Dickie going to visit anybody who needed
them and sharing the Lord with them. Shirley was a

The service was so appropriate for Shirley--I am sure she was watching from above. We have such sweet memories of friendship with you all in Hampton, all the good food, singing and helping each other. Being such a small town , we had to make entertainment so we just ate and ate.....Our prayers continue with you but we cling to our sweet memories./

I was sorry to hear of the earthly loss of Shirley. She was a member of our class of 1957 from Conway High School. I am sorry we did not see her through the years but have reflected on the life she lived as I have read these posts and viewed the video. I am pleased she made such a impact on those she came in contact with in her surroundings and in her church. There was already a card in the mail about our 55th reunion next summer and so sorry it will be coming as your grief is so fresh. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family..

I will never let you forget that I introduced you to the love of your life. Those were fun days but nothing to compare to the fun that Shirley is having now. No pain and she knows who you are. I remember when I first met Dickey and Shirley-I was at my sister's, Norma. I lived in Indiana and had come to Conway for a visit. There was to be a "Moon" party at Norma's. With Dickey and Shirley, I felt so at ease; so comfortable. Norma and Larry loved you, as did I. And, Shirley Brownings name has been a "household" word in our family- for YEARS!!!
I shall treasure those memories from years gone by-for always. Dickey, having recently lost my spouse, I truly do feel/know your grief. I care, know that.
Love,
Ms. Esther (M. Kershner-Mitchell)
