George Cullins, 93, of Kennett, Missouri entered into rest Saturday, June 25, 2011. He was born June 17, 1918 in Newport, AR to Joe and Myrtle Cullins. He attended First United Methodist Church, graduated from the University of Arkansas and was a public health inspector for the state of Missouri for many years. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bernice Cullins, two sisters Alice Marie Waugh and Elnora Cullins, and one brother Joseph Cullins.

Uncle George was not only a gentleman but he was also a very gentle man. I loved him a lot though we didn't see each other for many years. Until just a couple of years ago he would exchange X-mas cards with us and he would always write a note in his beautiful handwriting. He's with Bernice now.

I can't remember the last time I saw Uncle George, but I enjoyed exchanging Christmas cards with him for many years. He was such a sweet man. May he rest in peace. (BTW, I am Donna [Cullins] Casey's daughter and Joe Cullins' granddaughter.)
