Vivian Ragan, age 80, of Benton went to be with the Lord Friday, April 8, 2011. She retired after thirty-two years of dedicated service with The Department of Human Services. Her greatest love was for her family and home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents husband, Ross Ragan, and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by eleven children, Jimmy Ragan, Carolyn Ragan, Jerry (Barbara) Ragan, Pauline Ragan, Royce (Patti) Ragan of North Carolina, Virginia Ann Robinson, Kenneth Ragan, Lee Roy Ragan, Brenda (James) Reed of Tennessee, Chris Ragan, and Janet (Tommy) Ramsey; thirty-four grandchildren, Rosanna, Karen, Kevin, Jamie Shara, Jammie, Donna, Allen, Leslie, Angie, Ricky, Tonya, Trianna, April, Bobby, Nicholas, Amber, Kayla, Alex, Brittany, Josh, McKinzy, Brandon, Renee, Randy, Lindsey, Kelly, Kim, Dillon, Dustin, Vanessa, Latasha, Amanda, and Vivian; one hundred twenty-six great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 11, 2011 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047) with Rev. Roy Willis officiating. Interment will follow at McPherson Cemetery in Benton.
