Jean Hendrix, 87, of Osceola passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Born in Memphis on June 1, 1923 to the late Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Brooks, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Osceola. A former sales clerk with Sears for ten years, she also worked as Mississippi County Court Clerk for ten years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Fred Hendrix, Sr. She is survived by two sons, Allen Wesley Hendrix of Cordova, TN., Fred Hendrix, Jr. (Janet) of Osceola, AR; two daughters, Susan Dillard (Wayne), and Venecia Hendrix, both of Osceola, AR; eight Grandchildren, Carey Hendrix, Hyde Park, UT, Angie Culp (Bob), Nashville, TN, Fred Hendrix, III (Kim), Osceola, AR, Ricky Jones, Jr. (Tiffany), Manila, AR, Lori Davis, Largo, FL, Frank Hendrix (Catherine), Atlanta, GA, Craig Hendrix (Lauren), Paragould AR, Gina Craig (David), Walls, MS, and 10 great grandchildren.
