My prayers to all Pete's family. My memories go back to sitting in his kiitchen with the family, and to learning photo processing from Pete and my dad in the MacDougan Panoramic photo lab in Pete's backyard. As fine a man as has lived. I'm thankful to have known him and looked up to him as a fine friend to my dad and mom.
Mr. Pete, you were one of a kind and you made this world a happier place. As I watched the video, I saw how much pride you took in your family and all the admiration they had you for. You will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.
Ron and I were shocked by the news of Mr.Pete passing. He was one of the best people we will ever meet.. Our prayers are with Ms Merry Lou and the rest of the family. He will be missed.

Pete was a man that you could always count on for a hand and a cheerful word. His dedication to the Guard and it's mission was at the highest level. It was an honor to serve with him and know him. There is a sorrow fills my soul at his passing. god bless his family in this time of mourning.
I didn't want to believe it at first, Pete was such a good friend to us. Through the years together in the ANG he taught us so much. He was one heck of a carpenter, a perfectionist at that. He knew how to chew ones behind out and they would walk away smiling..His words of wisdom were amazing to me, we will miss you Pete. Our prayers are with you Merry and family.
So sad to hear of the death of Mr. Pete..He served with my father, Curtis Watson and also took pictures at mine and Don's wedding. I just remember him as always having a smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
So sorry to hear about the Pete's death, we read about it in the newspaper and wanted to send our condolescenses to the family.

Bob & Mary Ann Lancaster
Dear Marilyn & Kim and all of the McKissacks,
Charles and I will not be able to come down for the funeral but know that our prayers will be with you. Charles fell and broke his right arm 11-1-10 and is still in a sling. He had to have surgery (plate & pins). We have a lot of memories of the camping trips at the lake with all of you. Know that we love all of you . Pete was a great guy and a good friend to our family. Love & kisses to all, Marie & Charles
Kim, Marilyn and family. I was saddened to hear of Mr. Petes passing. He was such a great man & I will always remember him calling me Johnson girl. My thoughts are with all of you at this time.
I WAS IN THE NATIONAL GUARD WITH PETE. NEVER MET A FINER MAN. HE HEPLED ME MANY TIMES .HE WOULD GIVE YOU THE SHIRT OFF HIS BACK. MAY THE LORD TAKE HIM TO HEAVEN AND LET HIM REST IN PEACE.
Our family relationship with Pete goes back to Pete's and my father and mother's twenties years of age. Dad and Pete served in Korea together and worked together and were great friends both during business hours, but also personally.
My prfessional relationship began in 1969 when I joined the Air National Guard and lasted beyond my retirement 32 years later.
Pete was a good natured man. A true craftsman of many skills, but most of all he was a good man willing to help the youngest or the oldest.
He will be sorely missed. God's comfort and grace to all of those whosed lives he touched.
Mr Pete was one of a kind,he never met a stranger I was blessed to be able to call him one of my friends,he will be nissed by all that knew him,he'll be the biggest shinning star with God now.To all his family May God walk beside each & every one of you through these sad times, but remember tears are for the living not for those who have gotten to go & serve the Lord.by his side.Good-bye Mr Pete
