Florence Underwood Raff, 97, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 15, 2010 in Helena. Ms. Raff was born August 22, 1912 in Helena to the late Charles N. and Josephine Miller Underwood. She was an accomplished china painter and a member of the Arkansas Federation of Porcelain Artists and the Delta Dames China Decorators.
She is survived by one son, Chris Raff and wife, Vickie of Searcy, Arkansas; one daughter, Kathy Campbell and husband, Smokey of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and one daughter-in-law, Linda Raff of Helena; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her loving caretakers whose kindness is so much appreciated by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur E. ''Toots'' Raff, Sr. and one son, Arthur E. ''Gene'' Raff, Jr.
Services for Florence Raff will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Helena, Arkansas. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2010 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m.
Pallbearers are Vance Montgomery, Smokey Campbell, Hap Campbell, Craig Campbell, Newt Underwood and Charlie Dietrick.
In lieu of flowers family request memorials be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 123 Columbia Street, Helena, AR. 72342.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena (870) 572-2571.
