Guy Harmon Trammell was born August 15, 1940 at Newnata, Arkansas. He departed this life on December 17, 2007 at Little Rock at 67 years, four months and two days. He was a member of the Mountain View General Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Azilee Trammell, one daughter, Marsha Lynn Trammell; four brothers, Ulis, Levi, J.D., Carl and Charles Trammell and three sisters, Callie Louise Trammell, Alma Martin, and Betty Chitman.
He left behind one son, Kevin Trammell of Bee Branch, a daughter, Rhonda Trammell of Mtn. View; five brothers, Jim and Clinton Trammell of North Little Rock, Don Trammell of Mtn. View, Larry Trammell of Newnata, Glen Trammell of Big Flat; one sister, Wanda Woody of Mtn. View; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Guy will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Visitation is 6 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the Mountain View General Baptist Church with Bro. Junior Avey and Bro. Chris Carlton officiating and interment in Big Springs Cemetery near Newnata, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are his sisters-in-law: Jeanetta, Linda, Sharon, Maxine, Shirley and Yvonna Trammell.
Honorary pallbearers are Junior Mills, Patrick Stair, Frank Foll, Jim Greenway, Jeff Brown, JR Brown, R. L. Balentine and Benny Decker.

I was Mr. Trammell's podiatrist and saw him in Clinton every few months. He was such a wonderful man and spoke of his family often. I enjoyed every visit with him.
Rhonda & Kevin I am sorry for the loss of your Dad. There wil never be anyone like Guy. He was a great friend and a great person.
