My heart goes out to Gerry's family and mass of friends. I feel lucky to have known him and will miss his smile and true friendship. He spent hours on the phone helping me threw many hard days and nights after i lost Rob(Mackey, a good friend of his too). He was such a kind and gentle person but truly loved all things FAST! He even got me to ride with him (once) on his jet ski and I can see him now with his grin pointing at the speedometer which read 70. Rest in peace dear friend, know you are loved and missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing you. Susan
Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this loss.
Dear Mrs. Metts and the Metts family: Although Gerry and I had not seen each other in many years, I am deeply saddened to hear this news. I remember how we used to play together as boys in Cotter on those Sunday afternoons and always considered Gerry a friend long after we grew up, and I join you in mourning his passing. Gerry, take care my friend and I'll never forget you. -Sean and Amy McGhee

To the Metts family-I am deeply sorry for this tremendous loss-you know I love you all and will always be here for you anytime you need me. Gerry, I will miss you so much here on earth but I know that you will be watching over us all up there and smiling that great smile of yours. You were one of a kind and I never got to tell you just how much your friendship meant to me-you helped me through some very difficult times and you always knew how to make me laugh-I will miss that most of all. I know that you are at peace now and I will see you again someday-until then me and the girls send our love and prayers to your wonderful family-we will always love you and never forget you...Michelle, Kaylee, and Delaney Denmark
When we would pull up on a job sight and see Gerry and Gregg working together side by side, it always brought smiles to our faces. We knew we where in the best of company and were always in for a laugh. The world just got a little darker and the heavens a little brighter. We are proud to have called him a friend.
My deapest sympathy and empathy to Gerry's family and fellow friends. I can't remember 1 time that I ever saw Gerry that he didn't have that wonderful grin on his face. Even though I haven't seen Gerry in a while because of working on the road, I knew Gerry was just a phone call away. I really enjoyed the times that we used to spend together when life wasn't as hectic. Gerry is with our Lord and my little girl now. He will know nothing but love and happiness for now on. I look forward to being reunited with my friend Gerry and my Baby Emmi. We all love you Gerry and give my little girl a kiss for me, Charlie Crandall
