Helen “Tess” Brown, 80 of Greenbrier, Arkansas died Wednesday, August 3rd, 2004.  She was born in Greenbrier, August 5th, 1923 daughter of the late John P. and Amy McCollum Brannon.  She was predeceased by her husband of 36 years: Milburn Brown, brother: Herman Brannon, and niece: Kathy Leach.  She was a member of the Springhill Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her sister: Joan Hall of Greenbrier, brother: John M. Brannon of Normandy, Tennessee, by two nieces: Mary Bower of Little Rock, and Carol South of Russellville, by a nephew: David Brannon of Normandy, Tennessee, by three great-nephews: Jon Casey of Ft. Hood, Texas, Joey South of Russellville, and Michael Bower of Little Rock, by two great nieces: Amy Bower of Little Rock and Carissa Hart of Ft. Lewis, Washington, by two great-great-nephews: Dylan and Tyler Hart of Ft. Lewis, Washington, and by a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m., August 6th, 2004 at the Springhill Baptist Church with Rev’s. Ed Stephenson and Johnny Hoffman officiating.  Burial at Springhill Cemetery.  Visitation from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Roller McNutt Greenbrier (501.679.2575, www.rollermcnutt.com).
