Betty Janiece Gassaway, age 75, of Sherwood passed away, Friday, September 8, 2006 Betty was born to the late Vester and Connie Hamilton Grooms.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Charles Gassaway, Sr.; two sons, Charles Gassaway, Jr. (Gloria), Jimmy Gassaway (Lisa); sister, Anna Lou Harris; four grandchildren, Laura, Michael, Matthew and Madeline and one great-grandchild, Kayleigh.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Central Baptist Church, North Little Rock. Interment will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the church.
