She was a waitress and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Billie Taylor of Heber Springs, Peggy Stewart of Batesville; two sons, A. T. Thomas, Jr. of Batesville, Joe E. Thomas of Bossier City, Louisiana; one sister, Florence McClure of Batesville; five grandchildren, Vernon Taylor, Jr. of Florida, Jean Ann Bray of Batesville, Diane McDougal of Batesville, Jenny Thomas of Florida, Scott Thomas of Batesville; seven great-grandchildren, Vickie Taylor of Washington, Doug Taylor of Florida, Chris Stewart of Batesville, Amy Sherrill of Cabot, Taft Sherrill of Batesville, David Thomas of Batesville, Ashley Bray of Jonesboro; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alus T. Thomas; six sisters, Lollie Swan, Louise Repp, Bernice Milligan, Elouise Gill, Mary Millspaugh, Margaret Gabbert; one daughter, Betty Thomas; one grandson, Mike Stewart.
Pallbearers are Chris Stewart, Taft Sherrill, David Thomas, Vernon Taylor, Jr., Roy Thomas, and Mack McClure.
Honorary pallbearers are Vernon Taylor, Sr., Scott Thomas, Marshel Bray, and Winford Harmon
