Jerry Lynn Barton 50 of Greenbrier died Saturday (June 12, 2004).  He was born February 24, 1954 in Conway to the late William Curtis Barton and Martha Spears Barton.  He was a Chief Warrant Officer 2 in the Army National Guard with 22 years of service, a licensed Baptist Minister and member of Needs Creek Baptist Church. 

He is survived by his wife Sharon Barton of Greenbrier, two sons, Jacob Barton of Greenbrier and Brad Bryant of Naylor, daughter, Brandy Barton Randall of Greenbrier, his mother Martha Barton of Greenbrier, brother Curtis Lee Barton, two sisters Diane Rooney and Vicki Edwards and two grandchildren Hunter and Kaylin Randall all of Greenbrier.

Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday in Needs Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Joel Slayton and Bro. Jim Atkinson officiating with Military Honors.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Greenbrier. Pallbearers are Gene Ellington, Todd Sherrill, Glen Baker, Dan Michael, Bill Hooten, Bob Clark, Tim Tyler and Bob Lowry.
