Laine Alyn Spangler Seiler

December 12, 1946 - September 26, 2018

Laine Alyn Spangler Seiler passed away peacefully in Little Rock, Arkansas on September 26th, 2018 at the age of 71. She is survived by her children Warren III (and his wife Jill), Marlee (and her husband, John, and their daughters, Emily and Hannah), and Michael (and his wife, Catherine, and their children Bridget, Michael Jr., Rachel, and Frederick), and siblings Marty Johnson and William Spangler Jr. and their families. Her husband, Warren Seiler Jr., and her parents, William Spangler Sr. and Jean Spangler, preceded her in death.

Laine was born on December 12th, 1946 in Britt, Iowa and was raised in Crown Point, Indiana. She graduated from Andrean High School in Merrillville, Indiana. She attended Saint Mary of the Woods College and then received her bachelor's degree and master's degree in education from Loyola University in New Orleans. She taught elementary school in New Orleans, moved to Nashville, and settled in Little Rock where she stayed at home with her children.

Laine was a caring, loving, and devoted wife and mother for over 40 years. She was passionate about spending time with Warren Jr., their children, and grandchildren. She loved riding around on the golf course with Warren Jr., as well as rooting on the Irish at Notre Dame football games. She was Warren III, Marlee, and Michael's biggest cheerleader and always encouraged them to chase their dreams. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

The family will have a private funeral service to honor Laine's memory. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to the Alzheimer's Association: https://alzfdn.org/ or the Dementia Society of America: https://www.dementiasociety.org/.

What a wonderful lady ! I have known the Seilers for many years. I will always remember Dr. Seiler going on and on about his love for his wife , and how clearly and effectively he described their great relationship. He loved her so very much. Thinking they are together again is such a happy thought. Warren , Marlee and Michael if there is anything I can ever do to help you let me know. Your Dad helped me with things he taught me more than you could ever imagine. Rest in Peace Dr. Seiler and Laine.
