She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Raymond Keathley of Conway; sons, Bruce (Barbara) Keathley of Conway, and Nick (Debie) Keathley of Mt. Vernon; sisters, Marie Jackson of Heber Springs, Inez (Arville) White of Heber Springs, Linda Gaither (John Rowe) of Sebring, FL and Shirley (Bill) Poole of Winter Haven, FL; grandchildren, Nicole Keathley of Conway, Amber (Drew) Hester of Conway, Blake (Tiffany) Keathley of Conway, Vanda (Eric) Phillips of Mt. Vernon, Samantha Moser of Conway, Randi Chance of Mt. Vernon and Kassie Keathley of Vilonia; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Many people have been touched over the years by Jean's welcoming smile, great sense of humor and ability to make all those around her laugh. She will be missed by many, especially those who called her Mom and Nanie.

Jeans was an avid piano player who shared her talent with her church, family and friends all throughout her life. She enjoyed her time as a member of the Red Hat Society and loved to volunteer at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Heber Springs. Jean loved to travel, garden and watch the Arkansas Razorbacks on television. Throughout the years Jean worked for their family business. Of all of her passions, her favorite thing in life was being a mother and a grandmother.

Family visitation will be Tuesday, September 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. The funeral service will be Wednesday, September 19th at 10:00 am, burial immediately after services at Crestlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of the funeral home. My thoughts and prayers are with your family today and in the days to come. May God bless and comfort you as only He can. I never had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Jean, but I have always heard what a wonderful and sweet lady she was. I know you will miss her very much.

It is hard to believe someone so full of spunk could ever not be with us. But we all have our limited time in this plane. We are so glad to have been lucky enough to have as much Jean in our lives as we did. A call from Jean was always good for letting us know what was happening down south. And she was an inspiration for our son Tom writing his state report on Arkansas. She and Heber Springs made such an impression on him - he was smitten. The distance between Indy and Heber was too far and there were never enough vacation days to get down for as many visits as we wanted. But Jean was a bright spot in every visit we made to Heber Springs - always full of laughs and jokes. And with plenty of SWEET tea - I swear there was more sugar than water in her recipe.
We will miss her but we know she's living large now. The boys finally have a fourth for cards.
