Elvia Green, 91, a resident of Paris passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith.
She was born December 18, 1926, to the late Fannon and Sarah (Bates) Thomas. Elvia spent her working years cleaning houses and farming. She was a member of the Church of God in Gray Rock and loved to cook.
In addition to her parents Elvia was preceded in death by her husband, Holsie Green; a brother, J.C. Thomas and two sisters, Ella Barker and Ruby Moon.
She is survived by four nieces.
Private burial will be in Gray Rock Cemetery near Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Miss Elvie was the same age as my Daddy and grew up with him and my Aunt Irene. Even though she was only three years older, she was tasked with trying to watch over Irene while Grandma worked. She was a sweet lady who will be dearly missed.

Miss Elvie was a fun loving little lady who loved to laugh and have a good time.
Have known her all my life. Been a blessing to me and my family.
