Ruth was one of the few, truly strong and genuinely kind women I have met in my life. Any successes I have enjoyed as an adult I attribute, in large part, to the work ethic she instilled in me when I worked at the 22 Cafe. May she rest in peace.

Paula so sorry to hear of your Mother's death, I remember her as a vibrant middle-aged woman who ran the cafe and interacted with all of the customers.
I know that she had a great, life and will be missed.

So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God

What a great lady. She and Cecilmade a huge mark on Paris; through the 22 Cafe, Cecil's time as mayor, and their community work. They also raised some great kids. Lives wel lived.
