Barbara Lynn Henry Martin, age 79 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, July 5th, 2018 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. She was born in Big Creek, Arkansas on December 7th, 1938 to Balboa Henry and Nettie Nichols Henry.
Barbara married Edwin Martin on December 22nd, 1956. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren, crocheting, canning and working in her flowers.
Survivors include her children, Rita Lynn Martin of Harrison, Reva Nell Morrison (Ritchie) of Leslie, Marty Martin (Karen) of Big Flat and Billy Don Martin (Mary Beth) of Snowball; grandchildren, Brent Morrison, Michele Ragland, Barbie Belding, Shawn Hettinga, Lacey Gray, Leslie Edwards, Ricki Danielle Treat, Brittany Clark, Baylea Martin and Will Martin; great-grandchildren, Cross Belding, Wyatt, Matthew and James Treat, Tyner and Bohannon Hettinga, Gracie and Lee Gray, Lance, Josie, Hudson and Haskell Ragland, Braxton and Brynlee Morrison, Latch Edwards and Marlea Clark.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Edwin Martin who passed away in 2014; one son, Charles Craig Martin and wife Susie Smith Martin.
Per Barbara's request there will be a graveside service at East Lawn Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 7th, 2018 with Bro. Gary Ragland and Bro. Jason Ragland officiating. Pallbearers will be Bryan Belding, Joseph Ragland, Josh Treat, Matt Gray, Tommy Edwards, Zack Hettinga, Tyler Clark, Spencer Woods and Will Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Barbara's great-grandchildren.

Ms. Barbara was a kind , friendly person. We enjoyed getting to know her when she was my mother's roommate at the nursing home. She was a blessing to many.
