Eula Faye Lynn

of Marshall, AR

November 19, 1933 - June 28, 2018

Eula Faye Tomlinson Lynn departed this life on June 28, 2018 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. Her destination was Heaven. She has told her children and grandchildren about the Lord and her desire for them to be saved and to join her there. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church and taught Bible school for a number of years.

Faye was born on November 19, 1933 in the Harness community of Stone County, Arkansas. Her parents were Emerson and Mary Branscum Tomlinson. She was one of nine children and the last child to pass away.

Faye was a wonderful homemaker for her family. She enjoyed cooking and working with her flowers. At holiday gatherings her chocolate rolls had to be evenly divided with each family. Although a homemaker, she also worked at the Marshall Nursing Home, West Market, and as a bookkeeper at Marshall Milling for a number of years. Faye dearly loved the friends she made while working at the nursing home. When working at West Market she became friends with W.T. and Bonnie West. While working at Marshall Milling she made many new friends. Her love for James and Deanna Hubbard and their children only grew. They have been a blessing to her and her children.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents; eight siblings, Alvis Tomlinson, James Lawdon Tomlinson, Haskell Tomlinson, Guy Tomlinson, Olivia Johnston, Marie Treat, Januita Tomlinson, and Willodean Tomlinson; and her husband, Zeb Lynn. She and Zeb had been married forty-nine years before his passing in October of 2000.

Survivors include three daughters; Zebbie McBride (Bill) of Harrison, Susan Ruff (James), also of Harrison and Donna Holt (Terry) of Conway. Zeb always said the three girls were his and the sons-in-law were hers. She loved each of them very much. She leaves five grandchildren; Brandon McBride (Stacy), Melanie Utley (Rick), Brock Ruff (Kim), Justin Ruff (Chris), and Morgan Richard (Dillon). She also leaves nine great grandchildren, Samuel, Sawyer, Sophia, Sarah, Spencer and Shepherd Utley, Paysley and Parker Ruff, and baby boy Richard to be born in October 2018. Faye is also survived by three wonderful sisters-in-law; Pauline Tomlinson of Pekin, IL, Julia Tomlinson of Marshall, AR, and Jonnie Tomlinson of Modesto, CA. Julia has been a great friend and support for Faye and her family.

Funeral services for Faye will be 2:00 PM Monday, July 2nd, 2018 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. John Myatt officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 till 5:00 PM Sunday, July 1st, 2018 in the Chapel. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Kelly Horton, Randy Hubbard, Casey Hubbard, Tom Harris, Jake Harris and Cody Branscum. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Holt, Bill McBride, Brandon McBride, James Ruff, Brock Ruff, Justin Ruff and Rick Utley.

It is a blessing to know Faye's hope and faith was in Christ and thus will live eternally in the joy of the Lord. Faye was a strong and faithful witness and walked by example. I loved her and feel blest by having served in the same church as she served. May the Holy Spirit give each of you sustaining peace and rest in knowing you will meet again. My prayers are with you.
