Bill Smithhart, 76, of Conway, went to be with his Lord on Friday, June 15, 2018. He was born Monday, December 29, 1941 in Conway to the late O.T. and Mary Lee (Simmons) Smithhart.
Bill was retired from Conway Human Development Center, he also worked previously at Massey Hardware and Hiegel Lumber Company. He loved fishing, going to the casino, playing poker and watching his grandsons participate in their sports activities. He was a veteran of the Arkansas National Guard and of the Nazarene faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Todd and wife Natalie Smithhart of Conway; grandsons, Tate Smithhart, Cade Smithhart and Max Smithhart; a sister, Sharon Freyaldenhoven of Conway; a niece and nephew, Kellie Freyaldenhoven and Scott Freyaldenhoven; and a host of other family and friends.
A visitation will be Friday, June 22, 2018, 6:00-8:00PM at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.

Bill was a precious man. I am thankful I was able to know him and spend an incredible week at the beach with him years ago. Prayers for your family!

I got my start in baseball with coach Smithart in 1974. F&F concrete team. Todd, sorry for your lost.
I thought so much of Bill when we worked at CHDC. He was a sweet friend to my brother, Gary Edwards. I think of him often, he will be missed.
