I was just thinking of him this weekend, along with Aunt Jo. I am sorry for your loss. My favorite memories are of the family reunions and all the catfish Uncle Don would cook for us. Being a little girl and playing in their back yard and up and down the steps to the back porch. He will be missed.

Donny & Derrick so sorry about Don. We spent some fun times together fishing, playing with the squirrels and the many many meals. He was the only person who could cook catfish and fillet it for me to eat. I have special memories of fishing with him and dad and uncle Roy. May the Lord comfort you all during this time. Love y’all!

So very sad to hear of Uncle Don's passing.
He was the greatest fisherman, fish fryer, & hush puppy maker that ever was!
Gary & I will always remember his great fish dinners & late evening visits with Aunt Jo & him.
Fishing in heaven will be easy for him.
Bless his sons & family during this heartbreaking time.

Our deepest sympathy,
Margie & Gary Cates
