Vincent ''Vince'' F. Rappold, 67, of Conway went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 30, 2018. He was born September 28, 1950 in Conway to the late T. J. Rappold, Jr. and Gertrude Rappold.
Vince is survived by his loving wife, Patty, of 35 years; his mother, Gertrude Rappold; three sisters, Julia Lauritzson, Rita Sanders, and Antonia Buendtner; five brothers, Patrick, Phillip, Martin, Robert, and Timothy Rappold; three step-children, Carmen Davis(Doug), Mark Clegg(Lorenda), and Mike Clegg(Melanie); seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Peggy Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Vince was a faithful member of Pickles Gap Baptist Church and loved to share his faith with others. He was formerly employed as a carpenter with Nabholz Construction Company, Arkansas Children's Hospital and most of all he loved driving the school bus for Conway, Vilonia, and Faulkner County Day School. Vince was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a talented, self-taught musician who enjoyed playing the drums and harmonica. Vince was a great story teller and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Pickles Gap Baptist Church, with Bro. Jay McAlister officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pickles Gap Baptist Church, 2 Pickles Gap Road, Conway, AR 72032.
I did not know Vince but my sympathy and prayers for peace and comfort go out to his brother, Martin and the rest of his family.

What a wonderful person! My husband Monty Price and I have spent many an hour on the creek bank talking to Vince and sometimes listening to his stories from the past. We will miss him very much! Prayers for the whole family's healing and comfort, he was one of a kind.

Patty, I'm so sorry to learn Vince passed. He always had a smile on his face and his laugh was wonderful to hear. I am thinking of you and your family.
This old world lost a good man, and I lost a dear freind. I spent a lot of time speaking with him at the creek. I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure the man up stairs is not finished with Vince and will treasure him. God bless!
I am so sorry to hear about Vincent. We had gone to school together for 12 years at St. Joseph's in Conway. He was always head and shoulders above most of his classmates. Such a very nice guy.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I have known Vince for along time and always enjoyed swapping fish tales with him, whether it be on the Creek Bank or at Hardy’s restuarant early in the Morning when I would stop for Breakfast when I was going fishing. Most any givin Saturday morning you Could find Vince at Hardy’s drinking coffee and studying his Bible.
