Ronald ''Ronnie'' Lee Payne, 64 of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in Van Buren. He was born on December 14, 1953 in Los Angles, California to his parents James D. Payne Sr. and Phillis Lowther. He worked as a mechanic for Payne Auto Salvage for 30 years. Ronnie enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his wonderful grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Barbara Jean Payne, two brothers; Ricky Payne and James Payne, granddaughter Justice Preston.
He is survived by his daughter, Miranda Payne and husband David Preston of Rogers; two sons: Jason and wife Shannon of Clarksville and Ronnie and Tasha Nichols of Lamar; and seven grandchildren; Brittany Leeann Payne, Jason Todd Payne Jr., Nevaeh Grace Payne, Korey Austin Todd Preston, Riley Jay Preston, Bentley Preston, Kaiden Preston, Braylon Nichols, and Abby Nichols; five sisters: Doris Kemp of Pottsville, Donna Chambers of Russellville, Dianna Freeman of Pottsville, Deborah Smith of Clarksville, and Darlene Fitzgerald of Florida.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville.
