Greg and Lisa & Family:

My deepest sympathy and continued prayers for your family. Your mother was a very kind lady and I always enjoyed visiting with her when I would see her. May God Bless each of you as you grieve. Romans 8:28

Dear Dycus Children,
Jerry & I have been out of town and just now heard of your mother's death. How well we remember her from your young school days, and, of course, all the ball games!
But our best, and most endearing memory is from YEARS AGO when we'd moved to New York State temporarily. One night we got a call from your mom. I answered the phone, and without, "Hi, Howdy or How are you!", your mom, the Tax Collector, said, "Madelyn, you haven't paid your taxes!" Don't know why we hadn't got the forwarded bill, but we had a good laugh when she said, "Don't worry about it. I'll take care of it. But SEND ME A CHECK!"
She was a fine lady & a good friend.

We were sorry to learn of Shirley's passing. We have gone to church with her for years and have enjoyed being with her at various church activities. She was in our "Lunchables", a group of ladies who enjoyed going out to eat after attending our retiree class. She had a beautiful smile and such a sweet disposition. She will be missed. Prayers for your family.
