Ross L. Gentry, 94, of Benton, passed away on April 1, 2018. He was born on June 7, 1923 in Benton, Arkansas to the late Fate and Ann-Belle (Drennen) Gentry. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son; Ronald Gentry, one brother: Titus Gentry, and one sister; Billie Bucher.
Ross was a U. S. Army Veteran, a carpenter, and an avid outdoorsman.
Survivors include his wife; Ruby L. Gentry of the home, one daughter; Brenda Burrow (Travis) of Benton, four grandchildren; LeAnne Earnest, Scott Earnest, Ronald Gentry, Randy Gentry, one brother; Don Gentry of Bauxite, and many great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be conducted 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Hicks Cemetery with Bro. Terry Sayers officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (501) 315-4047.

I wished I could have stayed longer at visitation but wanted to again express my sympathy to aunt Ruby and the whole family. I have happy memories growing up whenever yall came to visit. Death is something that we never get use to no matter how old we are or how many people we loose because it's just not how we were created We were created to live forever, and I know we will all continue, like Jesus taught us, to pray as Matt 6:10 says for Gods will to take place here on Earth as it is in heaven where there is no death. When that happens, we will see uncle Ross again :-) I look forward to that and will pray God keeps comforting you all for the days and months to come. With all my love!
