Rex was a good father, the best that Chris and I knew or could ask for. We all loved him. He loved to hunt, especially quail; fish, especially catfish and had a life long love of the game of baseball. In 1986 he coached a team that won the Arkansas State Championships in Babe Ruth League. "He and Chris had a really special year and I was so proud too" says Lil Jon Caldwell.

So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God
Rest in peace. Class of 1951
I remember spending time with Rex in my youth, as I would go to the Caldwell home to visit with Chris. I would often see Rex, sitting at the counter reading the paper. I enjoyed visiting with Rex, and discussing the headlines. I had lots of good times at the Caldwell home. I am thankful that Rex accepted me into his home, and let Chris and his friends be kids. I won't forget the parties at Caldwell's. Godspeed, Rex. Hope to see you on the other side.
Rex will be missed by those that new and loved him.
He loved his sons. I am glad he was part of my extended family.
In Christ Love
Cousins.
