Faye Brewer Scott, age 101, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018. She was born August 19, 1916, the daughter of Elmer and Vada Hensley Brewer, in St. Joe, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Duard; and her children, Peggy Smithson and Jackie Scott.

She loved flowers, gardening, sewing, reading anything and everything. She was an amazing cook, she made the best chocolate rolls, cobbler, she could turn anything into a wonderful meal. She loved all her visits with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, JoAnn Lane of Wichita, Kansas and Lana Jackson (Ron) of Boise, Idaho; her brother, Jack Brewer, of Benedict, Kansas; her grandchildren, Dana (Dave) Moore, Damon Black, Dusty (Lacey) Black, Leah Scott Davenport and Jamie (Christine) Scott; her great-grandchildren, Jordan and Katie Moore; and several nieces and nephews.


Funeral service was 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Roller-Christensen Funeral Home with Chaplain Kerry Liggett officiating.

Interment was in Love Cemetery, St. Joe, Arkansas.

Pallbearers were Joe Jones, Shane Jones, Wilbur Jones, Bob Watts and Jim Campbell.

Honorary pallbearers were Damon and Dusty Black, Jordan Moore and Mt. Vista Rehab Staff.
