I have many happy memories growing up with Aunt Stella Fay and Uncle Lawrence. They were both always so good to family and offered loving assistance whenever they knew someone needed it. Their house was a joy to visit and you always felt welcome. Wish I could tell them how much they were loved by all the kids in the family, but maybe they knew it!
So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God
I worked with Lawrence quite a bit and thought a lot of him. Condolences to the family.
It was a pleasure knowing Uncle Lawrence seventy years. We visited with him and Aunt Stella Faye a lot when we first got married,, and the kids were small. He was a fine man. My Prayers are with his Family. Treasure your memories.
Lawrence was a very good person to know and to talk with about anything. I first met him when I had moved onto Hwy 298 and he had bought the property next to mine. He walked through the woods and approached me asking my permission for him to cut down the timberland on his property behind my house to raise cattle. I told me that was his property and he did not need my permission. He responded telling me he did not want his neighbors to be mad at him for doing that and I told him that he could do anything to his property and it would not upset me at all. He was a very strong man who loved his family and he will be missed. Prayers for his family at his loss.
Mr. Shields started out as my landlord a few years back and we became friends quickly. After I moved we kept that friendship and I feel truly blessed by the time I got to spend with him. I will miss our visits so much , and our phone calls discussing everything from politics to how crazy this world has become. He loved his family and was proud of all of them. You all are in my thoughts, my heart, and my prayers . May God’s love make your grief bearable
Prayers for the family.
Hoping for healing for you. He was a wonderful man.
Frank and Reggie I am praying for you. Love Charlene.
