David Pittman, 78, of Bono, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018. He was born January 10, 1940 in Brookland to James Henry and Oneda (Forkhum) Pittman. David was retired from Hytrol Conveyer and was a member of the Herman Missionary Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda Pittman; 2 brothers, Louie and Wayne; sister, Imogene.
Survivors include, son, Norman (Laura) Pittman; daughters, Sheila (Doug) Price and Jeanette (Michael) Smith; grandchildren, Amy, Betty, Blake, Kalina and Brock; great grandchildren, Xander, Reily, Robert and Rogan; brothers, Doug, Leon, Clydie and Ernie; sisters, Reathie, Connie, Mildra and Kay; 2 special nephews, Jim, Blue; and a special niece, Brenda.
Funeral service will be Monday, March 12, 2018, 10:00 am at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home. Officiating will be Shawn Brandon and Randy Stimach, with burial to follow at Pine Log Cemetery, Brookland. Pallbearers will be Danual Melton, Thomas Wheeler, Keith Fielder, Maurice Watkins, Wayne Winn and Larry Foreman.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 11, 2018, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
