Avis Arlene Stacy, 94, of Quitman, AR, went to be with the Lord Friday, February 23, 2018. She was born June 27, 1923 in Quitman, AR to the late John and Myrtle (Condray) Ussery. Arlene was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Oliver T. Stacy, great grandson, Sawyer New, five sisters, Alice Johnson, Coleen Ridings, Marie Stacy, Johnnie DeBusk, and an infant sister along with two brothers, Maynard Ussery and J.C Ussery.
Arlene was a faithful member of the New Home Missionary Baptist Church in Quitman. She devoted her life to the Lord and her family. Arlene enjoyed working with her flowers, gardening, cooking and canning. She always loved spending time with her family. Arlene was loved very much by her family and friends, who will dearly miss her smile and her true concern for others.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, son, Johnny (Judy) Stacy of Little Rock, daughter, Kathryn (Harrel) Herring of Maumelle, and son, Lonny (Lisa) Stacy of Guy; 7 grandchildren, Doug (Lisa) Stacy, Shannon New, Jeff (Kristin) Herring, John (Alisha) Herring, Angela Stacy, Tyler Stacy, and Kelsey Stacy; 9 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 pm, Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Monday, February 26th at New Home Missionary Baptist Church with interment to follow at Old Texas Cemetery in Guy.

Mrs. Arlene is in some of my earliest memories and most all of my memories of church through the years. She was a wonderful, loving lady and she will be missed. I know she is loving Heaven :)
