Curtis Matthew Baltz, 85, of Little Rock, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Friday, February 16, 2018. He was born June 1, 1932 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to the late Bartha and Rose Baltz. Curtis was one of twelve children and is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Betty Throesch Baltz, his two children Brad (Amy) Baltz and Carla (David) Randall and his five grandchildren Alan, Nick, Matthew, Chris, and Laura Jo. He also is survived by four siblings Lucian, Max, Catherine, and Alice, and will be missed by many more family and friends.
Curtis served in the Korean War and upon returning home attended and graduated from Arkansas State University. He was an active and loving family man, sound in faith and respected by those fortunate enough to cross his path.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Rhonda Gentry and the entire CARTI family for their unending love and support over the years and to DaVita Dialysis for their care over the last two years.

Dr. Brad and Family: May God grant you strength at this time of loss. Losing a parent is always difficult no matter what age they are or the health challenges they face. Rest assured that he is in Heaven now with all of our loved ones who have passed away.He raised a wonderful Catholic family that he was rightfully proud of. May he rest in the Peace of Christ ! We offer our prayers and love to the family for the event. We know he will be missed and the vacancy it leaves. Cherish the time together and the memories. We pray for all involved.
Curt will be missed by many of us in the Engelberg community. I feel blessed to get to hear my dad talk about the days when they we boys growing up together. And getting to talk to Curt after church when he was here at this second home. He would always tell me how much my son looked like one of his grandsons. I guess since they both have Throesch gene's they probably did look a lot alike. Thank you for sharing him with us and he will be missed. Your family is in our prayers.
Dear Dr. Baltz and family,
We are so sorry to hear of your dad's passing away. We will pray for the comfort of God for all of you in your time of grief and sorrow. Our sincerest condolences go out to each of you.
