My mother, O'Letha Buchanan, and Rose were table mates in the dining room at the Nursing Home in Owasso. My mother passed December 23, 2017. My mother and Rose and I played dominos during my visits. I quickly adopted Rose as my other mother. The four years that I had Rose in my life are truly cherished. I dearly loved Rose. Rose's memory was failing, but when it came to dominos, she was SHARP. It's amazing what the mind can do. To Rose's son and family, I want to say "Thank You" for sharing her with me. I spent 4 hours a day, 2-3 days a week with Rose, and I LOVED, LOVED. LOVED every minute I had with her. I lost my birth mother, O'Letha, and a month later I lost my adopted mother, Rose. I miss them, both.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Rose. I used to work with her on 2nd shift at Hanes (Sara Lee) in Clarksville, AR. I remember her husband used to drive her to work every evening and pick her up every night. Rain, shine, sleet or snow. She always had a smile on her face. I truly enjoyed working and talking with her. Prayers for her family.
