Bill Ring, 86, of Batesville, Arkansas went to heaven on Saturday, January 20, 2018.
He was born on March 29th, 1931 to Mae Marlin Collins and Charlie Ring.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles and Hershel Ring; and sister, Pauline Dodd.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Isabell Ring; sons, Nickey (Phyllis) Ring of Sulphur Rock, David (Phyllis) Ring of Batesville; two grandchildren, Nicole (Matt) Gay of Paraould and Erik Goodrich of Batesville; three great-grandchildren, Grace, Ella and Grant Gay; and sister, Mary (Ralph) Palmer.
Bill was of the Baptist Faith. He was a member of the United States Army and was a Mason of the 32nd Degree. He worked at International Shoe Company repairing sewing machines. He also worked in the maintenance department at White River Medical Center before becoming disabled.
Bill had a passion for life. He loved gardening, hunting, working on sewing machines and finding those bargains at yard sales. But most of all loved his family and friends. He was a generous man who helped others and who was loved greatly by all who knew him. His beloved memories will be cherished in our hearts forever.
Pallbearers include Jimmy Branscum Jr., Junior Branscum, Johnny Gott Jr., Shawn Gott, Steve Grady, and Dennis Satterfield.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 23rd in the Roller-Crouch Chapel with Pastor Bobby Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Tuesday just prior to service.

So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I always enjoyed visiting with him when I lived there in Batesville.
