Claudia Lucille Jones, 89, of Jonesboro passed away Monday, December 11, 2017, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born August 20, 1928, in Memphis, Tennessee, to William and Bessie (Van Cleave) Lowery.
She was a housewife and of the Baptist belief. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and antiquing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Kenneth Jones; her parents; three brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Marlene) Jones of Jonesboro; three daughters, Sandra Pierce of San Tan Valley, Arizona, and Brenda Lamb of Hernando, Mississippi, and Deborah Box of Jonesboro; two brothers, Robert Lowery and Raymond Lowery; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service Monday, December 18th, at 1:30pm at Jonesboro Memorial Park, Harrisburg Rd, Jonesboro.
In lieu of flowers, lasting memorials may be made to the NEA Humane Society, 6111 E. Highland Dr., Jonesboro, AR 72401 (neahs.org).
