of Conway, AR

November 10, 1951 - November 30, 2017

Laura Allen Keeler, 66, of Conway, Arkansas passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017. She was born November 10, 1951 in Berkeley, California to the late James Dean Allen and Dona June Voigt. Laura was also preceded in death by her husband of 16 years, Bart. Devoted to her family, Laura was ever a source of blunt wisdom and honesty for her 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and their spouses and friends. She always had room in her home for a friend in need and an opinion to share in most any debate. Everyone whose life she has touched will dearly miss her friendship, advice, and pithy sense of humor.

The memorial will be 2:00 pm Sunday, December 10, 2017 at The Brick Room in Conway.

My sincere condolences to her family. In conversations with Laura she often spoke of her children and grandchildren. I know your hearts must be heavy, but think of the good times and find peace. Life is passageway to our reward. My God grant you comfort.

Laura did a lot helping me getting into out-reach patient care.
Together, we set up the first of Conway Regional clinics, and pulled the Conway Nursing Homes into our fold. This service
provided the public the opportunity for lab work, without coming to the hospital.
Those were exciting times for us. She was a good friend. I enjoyed knowing her.
