Surrounded by family who loved her, Ola Faye Holloway Palmer went to be with her Lord December 2, 2017. Born February 16, 1927, Faye loved to work in her gardens and yard. She could make anything grow and thrive, even a transplanted sprig. She was a fabulous cook and loved canning, watching sports in person and on TV, and fishing with her husband, Vick, whenever they could get away.

As a teenager, Faye played basketball for Wooster High School. A faithful fan of her sons and grandchildren, she attended many a baseball and football game, where she loved telling the refs and umpires just what she thought. Faye was a loving, sassy mom, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Essie Faye and Jeff Holloway; her husband, James Vick Palmer; daughter, Brenda Faye Palmer; brothers, C.E. Holloway, Bill (Pam) Holloway, and Gene (Marion) Holloway; and step-granddaughter, Elizabeth Loyd Mitchell. She is survived by her sons, Jim (Linda) Palmer and Tom (Mary) Palmer; her grandchildren, Julie (Michael) Kimbrell, JJ (Amanda) Palmer, and Tony Palmer; step-grandchildren, Katy (Brett) Loyd Wilson, Christopher (Rebecca Brodnax) Loyd, and Jimmy Mitchell. She also had great-grandchildren that she loved to see, Lauryn and Clayton Kimbrell and Jack, Sam, and Jude Palmer and step great-grandchildren, Jenniva Mitchell, Charis Mitchell, Scarlett Mitchell, Jacob Loyd, and Willamina Wilson.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Bethlehem Cemetery in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
