Marva Lynda Heard, age 64 of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Little Rock VA Medical Center. She was born to on February 27, 1953 in Little Rock to her late parent's Marvin and Lena Jackson White. Marva was a homemaker and a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include her husband, Russell Heard; 1 son, Charles Rummell (Tamara) of Lonoke, AR; 1 daughter, Elizabeth Smith-Kuykendall (Jonathan) of Alexander, AR; 2 grandchildren; 1 sister, Ellen Moore of Perryville, AR and 2 brothers, Bill White and Owen R. White both of Little Rock. She is preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, H.D. White.
Graveside services will be 1:00pm Monday, November 27, 2017 at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Ferndale.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Death is an enemy we all have faced and will face again. I do find a great deal of comfort from the promises found in God’s word, the Bible. Like Revelation 21:3, 4, where it promises one day this enemy will be no more. Hope this will give a measure of comfort to you as well. Your ALL in my thoughts & prayers!

So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" ( 3) Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, (4 ) who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.
