December 21, 1929 - October 3, 2017

Catherine (Katy) Louise Heuberger Trotter, 87, of Conway, Arkansas, formerly of Blytheville, went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2017. A daughter of the late Herman and Aleese Currie Heuberger, she was born December 21, 1929, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a very active member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and Literacy Council, where she taught adults to read. She volunteered countless hours at Conway Regional Medical Center. Katy was a secretary to many churches and public schools. She was an avid seamstress, crocheter, gardener and wonderful cook who loved to entertain and play games, especially at the Senior Citizen Center. She loved helping people and family was her priority.

In addition to her parents, Katy was preceded in death by her husband, William Eugene (Gene) Trotter, two sisters, Corinne Thomas and Vera Lamar of Memphis, Tennessee, and two grandchildren, John (J.J.) Evans Trotter and Christie Trotter Williams of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

She is survived by a brother, Herman (Sookie) Heuberger of Collierville, Tennessee, a sister, Agnes (Bob) Oakley of Jacksonville, Florida, her children, Bill (Lorry) Trotter of Port Allen, Louisiana, Michelle (Stuart) Booth of Bryant, Arkansas, Roger (Kay) Trotter of Navarre, Florida, her grandchildren Dana (Rick) Robertson of West Monroe, Louisiana, Angi (Chad) Reed of Benton, Arkansas, Marshall Trotter of Pensacola, Florida, Tim (Kim) Lee of Addis, Louisiana, Lesley (Adam) Skinner of Elkins, Arkansas, and twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 1:00 pm with visitation at 12:00 pm. Burial afterwards at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Online guest book: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/conway.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Loosing a loved one is never easy. I lost my dad in 2010, and my mom in 2012. After my losses, reading Revelation 21:3,4 gave me real comfort. It says: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. I hope reading these verses also give you comfort during this difficult time. GW

Mrs. Trotter was a great lady and dedicated worker at Wesley Methodist Church. Jesus was her Savior and we will see her again. My sympathy to her family.
