James ''Jim'' Paul Davidson, 82, of Cabot, AR passed away to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday Sept. 30, 2017. Jim was born June 2, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late James and Teresa Davidson.
He is survived by the love of his love of his life and wife of 59 years, Fern Poe; son Jim Davidson (Kristen), daughter Jan Dring (Doug), grandchildren Bailey Hendricks, Braden Davidson (Samantha), Brette Davidson, Asa Arnett, Johnathan Dring and great grandchild Cora Hendricks.
Following his service in the Air Force Jim earned his bachelor's degree at State Teachers College in Conway, AR and began his career in the grocery industry. Jim was the owner of six grocery stores in Arkansas and Missouri and founded Davidson Marketing & Analysis. Jim was a member of Beebe Church of Christ. Jim loved to travel and was a passionate Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.
In Lieu of Flowers the family requests donations be made to Parkinson's disease research.
Graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 3, at 3:00 PM at Heffington Cemetery in Enola, Arkansas.
