Steven Lynn ''Red'' Morgan, 57, of Charlotte, died at his home on Wednesday, July 26, 2017.

He was born in Batesville, Arkansas on November 29, 1959 and was the son of Thomas Perry and Jeannie B. (Prichard) Morgan. He was a diesel mechanic and a member of the Charlotte Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberley Leeann (Silvy) Morgan of Charlotte; son, Jamae Lynn Morgan (Kimberley Renee Dale) of Desha; daughter, Sabrina Lanette Peterson (Michael) of Cushman; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Other survivors include his brothers, Leslie Morgan (Susie) of Jonesboro; Thomas Glen Morgan (Andrea) of Jacksonville; Donald Keith Morgan (Sherry) of Searcy; and Ronald Gene Morgan (Ti) of Rosie.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Stanley Ray Morgan, and a nephew, David Aaron Morgan.

Pallbearers will be Gene Lovins, Jerry Cook, John Martin, Charlie James, Nick Pugh, Robert Morgan, David Justice, and Grady McMahan. Honorary pallbearers will be his brothers, Leslie Morgan, Thomas Morgan, Donald Morgan, Ronald Morgan, and Peco Food Employees.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017 at the Church of Christ in Charlotte with Chuck Crow and Jerrel Lillard. Burial will follow at the Charlotte Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Steve was a fighter and didn't go down easily. He was a good friend and was always willing to give a hand. We will miss him.
