Dorothy Miller Johnston, 78, of Elaine, Arkansas passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 in Memphis, Tennessee. Mrs. Johnston was born to Jessie Robertson and Marie Patton December 03, 1938 in Elaine, Arkansas.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Johnston of the home; one son, Thomas Miller (Glenda Carrol) of Conway, Arkansas; one daughter, Felicia Newsom (Randal) of West Helena, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Brian Miller, Brandon Newsom (Bree), Chad Miller (Alisa), Jacob Newsom (Carrie); one great-grandchild, Chloe Newsom; two sisters, Martha Byrd and Charolette Bright of Little Rock, Arkansas. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, W. E. Miller, one sister, Jo Anne Jammerson, one brother, Henry ''Sonny'' Robertson.
Serving as pallbearers are Jacob Newsom, Brandon Newsom, Chad Miller, Steven Box, Matthew Box, James Miller and Ricky Tinsley.
Services will be Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 10:00 A. M. at Roller-Citizens Chapel with Brother Luke Watson officiating.. Visitation is from 6-8:00 P. M. Monday, July 24, 2017 also at the Chapel. We were so sorry to hear of Dorthy's passing. She was always such a sweet and neat person to be around. Our prayers for all the family. She will be missed.💕
