Beulah Mae Hartsfield, age 98 of Peoria, Arizona died June 24th, 2017. She was born February 20th, 1919 in Martinville, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her parents John W. Herring (1919) and Eva Jane Spruell Herring (1951), her husband Anderson Hartsfield (1986), son John W Hartsfield (2016), and all of her eight brothers and sisters.
Beulah is survived by her daughter Barbara Browning of Peoria, Arizona, daughter-in-law Judy Hartsfield of Mississippi, granddaughter Elizabeth Jones (& Chris) of Arizona, grandson Mac Browning (& Erika) of Texas, granddaughter Kendra Pamenter (& Rich) of Florida, grandson Steven Hartsfield of New Mexico, granddaughter Leigh Akins (& Morgan) of Mississippi, grandson Art Washington (& Sheila) of Mississippi, ten great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Beulah and Anderson were farmers until the Cotton Boll Weevil Infestation destroyed the cotton crops in Arkansas. She went to work in the Baldwin Piano Factory and worked there until she retired.
Beulah enjoyed gardening, visiting shut-ins with church friends, going on family trips, and making beautiful handmade quilts. After losing her vision, she enjoyed listening to Talking Books from the Braille Institute. Her true passion was her church and serving God. She was a long time member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Conway, Arkansas.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 7th 2017 at Roller McNutt, Conway, Arkansas at 1:00 p.m. with viewing beginning at 12:00 p.m. There will not be a graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, any monetary contributions will go to the Conway First Church of the Nazarene building fund.
So sorry to hear about Great Aunt Beulah Mae. I remember being pen pals with her and Great Uncle Anderson for several years when I was younger. They were such a sweet couple. I'm so glad she enjoyed a long, full life.
She was a sweet and very dear lady to
Me. I enjoyed talking with her when I would be at Annes. She was a joy to work with when she got ready to sell her home. Sorry for your loss,Barbara.
Ms. Beulah Mae will be so missed, she was such a wise woman. I loved our talks & will miss her joy & laughter.
Oh what a reunion she is having now! so I will try to rejoice for her.

I remember Beulah at church before she moved away. I'm sorry I didn't get to know her more before she left. I'm so glad she got to lead a long life serving Jesus and enjoying her family. I look forward to hearing all her stories in heaven one day.
