Georgia Ann Robinson

June 27, 2017

Georgia Ann (Howard) Robinson was born in Bakersfield, Mo, in Ozark County, on October 11, 1944 to George and Lora Howard. Jesus saw that she was worn out and sent his angels to carry her home to him on June 27, 2017 at the age of 72.

In her younger (before rheumatoid arthritis took its toll) years, she would often greet each new day with a smile on her face, the stereo playing and dance with joy and happiness. If she could talk to us now I think she'd quote Psalm 30:11 and tell us that God ''has turned her mourning (suffering) into dance again, he's taken her sorrow and turned into joy''.

While she lived on this earth her daughter Denise was confined by Cerebral Palsy to a wheelchair. Our family takes joy in the thought of Denise, whole and on her feet, dancing with her mama in Heaven. ''Weeping may endure the night'' but we know ''Joy will come in the morning'' as we remember Georgia and thank God for the gift we had in knowing her and loving her.
Georgia was a member of Northside Church of Christ and the family acknowledges, with deep gratitude, the help and support her church family has provided.

She was welcomed to Heaven by her parents, step-father, G.S. Cooper, her infant son Kevin and daughter Denise Tilton, her brothers Larry Howard and Jack Cooper, her sisters Norma Cockrum, Bonnie Peters, Laura Endicott, and Pauline Rhine.

Left behind are her husband Richard Robinson of the home, sons and daughters-in-law Gary and Kari Robinson, of Colorado, Ernst and Lisa Robinson, of Colorado. Sisters, Mary Marden, of Harrison, and Linda Detherage, of West Plains, Mo, brother-in-law Leroy Robinson, and many nieces and nephews, one of whom is Joyce Faulkner who did much to give aid and comfort in the last several months.

Visitation was Friday, June 30, 2017, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Funeral service was Saturday, July1, 2017, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Steve Powers officiating.

Pallbearers were Don Peters, Ernst Robinson, Gary Robinson, Jerry Peters, Wes Marden, and Bill Cockrum.

Interment was at Free Union Cemetery in Bakersfield, Missouri.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl. Memphis, TN, 38105, and Arkansas Children's Hospital, 1 Children's way, Little Rock Ar. 72202
