Ned Gardner age 79, of Mt. Vernon passed away Monday June 19, 2017. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his two sons Frankie(Lisa) Gardner, Billy (Amy) Gardner, three daughters Donna McNeil, Joanna Smith, Penny Gardner, nine grandchildren Racheal, Travis, Clint (Jo Bob), Shanelle McElhaney, Wyatt, Ethan, Mason, Kadin, Kolton, great-grandchild Kardyn McElhaney and one sister Ima Ruth Poczik.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Clay and Amey Sublett Gardner and brother, Don Gardner.
A memorial service in his honor will be held at 1:00 P.M. June 23, 2017 in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the North Oak Church of Christ Mt. Vernon Hwy 36, Mt. Vernon, Ark. 72111.
I am so very sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and all the family. I always smile when I think of Ned. We traveled many miles together I thought so much of Ned. I regret not being able to come to the funeral today because of the problem with my neck, but I will be there in spirit. You all are in my prayers, Love you guys.

So sorry for the loss of this sweet man. My kids lovingly called him "Uncle Ned" . Shane leach sends his love and prayers. I am praying for comfort for the entire family.
So sorry for your loss!!!! Ned was one of a kind of guy!!!! Had a big heart and fun loving!!! He was a joy to be around!!!! I traveled the coast to coast with him for almost a year!!!! Definitely an adventure!!! My prayers are for peace and comfort for the family!!
