John Michael Fisher, 69, of Jonesboro, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born March 23, 1948 in Jonesboro to Roy Denver and Jessie Mae Duncan Fisher. Mr. Fisher worked for Sun Industries in sales.
Mr. Fisher is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Mark Fisher.
Survivors include his daughters, Amy Fisher of Little Rock, and Sarah Baber (Barrett Baber, husband) of Franklin, TN; grandson, Brooks Baber, granddaughter, Elliott Baber; brother, Dale Fisher of Jonesboro; and sister, Jan Berryhill of Richmond, VA.
A memorial service will be held 3 pm Saturday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro.
Amy, Sarah, Jan, and Dale . . .so sorry to learn of the passing of Mike. I knew him for a long time and he never failed to have a big smile and ready joke anytime I saw him. Thoughts and prayers to all.

"Fish" has brought SOOOO much JOY and much Laughter in my Life. As Friends, we only had 1 date in the Blue Volkswagon Beatle called the "Scabb". I laughted so hard all evening that as a young healthy person was actually sore the next day !!!! Remaining just Good Friends was a pleasure as Kat and Mike shared many GREAT TIMES with us !!!! I know our Lives went separate ways but a Life Long Dear Friendship remained !!! My Prayers are with You Amy and Sarah and all of your Family !!!!
So sorry to learn of Mike's passing. I last saw him at our 50 th class reunion last year. Mike was one of my first "boyfriends" back at Annie Camp Jr
High, so I will always remember him. Condolences to his family in their loss,
Mike I am so sad to see that you passed on! You were an awesome person! Full of laughter and entertainment and just a great guy. You could do anything in the world with little effort! I will miss you but I am sure Uncle Huck, Aunt Jess and Mark are glad to see you! Love you buddy!
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mike, I worked with him for over 20 years, he was a kind hearted, sweet man... everyone loved "Fish" he is going to be missed.. prayers for Sarah & Amy...and all his family...
