Elaine Sirstins Cummings, 77, of Batesville, died June 2, 2017.
She was born on October 20, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Walter H.A. Sirstins and Greta (Ardnt) Sirstins.
Elaine loved to be involved in church and participating in the community. She enjoyed planting flowers and traveling. She truly was a beautiful, loving, and caring person to all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Winford Paul Cummings of Batesville; son, Anthony Bennett of Seattle, Washington; daughter, Susan Mansfield (John Baxter) of Fayetteville; two sisters, Marlene Nelson (Leroy) and Shirley Griffiths (Gary) both of Utah; two grandchildren, Kelli Mansfield and Rick Mansfield; as well as a niece, Diane Welty of Utah.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Margaret (Everette) Angle and Ruth (Boyd) Gee; brother, Walter (Raeline) Sirstins.
Pallbearers are Bobby Tosh, Eric Low, Brian Cummings, Brad Cummings, George Ball, and Darryl Fulbright. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Neaville, Dr. Van Grouw, and the staff at WRMC.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Salado Baptist Church with Berrett Buyer officiating. Burial will follow at Egner Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
