Michael Wayne Smith, 58, of Jonesboro, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at his home. He was born April 1, 1959 in Hawthorne, CA to James Harold (Jim) and Zoetta (Watkins) Smith. Michael was retired from AT&T and was of the Baptist belief. He served in the U.S. Army. He loved helping with children's charities, was a member of the NRA, shooting guns, and was a 10-year member of the Association Motorcycle Club.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, James Robert (Bobby) Smith.
Survivors include his sons, Cody (Becky) Smith of College Station, TX and C.J. (Brittani) Johnson of Lake City; daughters, Kayla (Alan) Miksik of TX and Courtney (Matt) Quinn of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Amelia, Braelyn, Raegan, Addison, Alana and Kasen; his twin brother, Shane Smith of Jonesboro; his sisters, Melissa (Robbie) Walker of Jonesboro and LeAnn (Kelly) Bryson of Paragould; his fiance', Kim Minga-Johnson; his brothers and sisters of the Association Motorcycle Club; and countless cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests lasting memorials be made in Michael's honor to the Salvation Army, 800 Cate, Jonesboro, AR 72401.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Wayne was such a loving and caring person, always made me laugh! He would do anything for you and I am so heart broken that he has been taken so soon! I will truly miss him but I will see Wayne and Bobby in Heaven one day! Prayers for comfort in your hearts and God's strength to get through this dark time.
