I was so sorry to see this in the newspaper a few days ago. "Mother Crawley" was definitely a one-of-a-kind school teacher who invited her students into her home to coach them on many occasions the three years I was at Metropolitan. I was one of the lucky ones to be taught by her and she made an everlasting impact on my life. I can type this post right now simply because of Mrs. Crawley teaching my typing class! I have SO many fond memories of her. Thank you, Crawley family, for sharing this special lady with me and so many others! She was a true blessing.

"Mother Crawley", as we affectionately called her, was a wonderful teacher and mentor for me and so many of my classmates. She and her husband "Uncle Bob" coached our FBLA parliamentary procedure team on their own time in their home. I will treasure all of the memories of her and her family and that special time in my life. I'll see you later, Nell Crawley!

Mr. Crawley, it hurts my heart 2 read in the paper of my favorite teacher's homegoing. Praying for you and family. I was unsuccessful in trying to contact her later in my life, but I'll always love my business teacher, and wanted her to know I succeeded by the Grace of God.
