Eleanor Rose Harris Gibbons, 67, of Little Rock departed this world Wednesday, May 24, 2017.

Born in Monticello, Arkansas, she was a medical bookkeeper most of her career, and a member of Christ Church, Alexander, Arkansas.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Cleo Gibbons; six children: Jeff Hatley of Rogers, Kim Prewitt (Audie), Chad Hatley, Cleo Gibbons Jr. (DeeAnn), Richard Gibbons, and Shane Gibbons (Nancy) all of Benton, Arkansas; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers; two sisters; and multiple nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Harris; mother, Mardell Harris; and brother, Henry Harris.

Funeral will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, Little Rock, AR (501)455-5800. Burial will follow at Halstead Cemetery, Little Rock. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. before the service.

To the Family. SO sorry for your loss. Hope you will be comforted in knowing that Eleanor has the prospect of being resurrected (in the flesh) to Paradise Earth as God has promised. Cleo my heart goes out to you. I loved Eleanor and always thought that you all were the cutest couple. I can honestly say i know how you feel and it will take time to mend the hurt but alway remember she is in a better place and you will see her soon. Love you

Eleanor was a wonderful lady. She always kept everyone's spirits up. She is now a special angel up in heaven looking down on us. We love and miss her very much! She is at peace now.

Eleanor is a very special lady, her and I became good friends at Arkansas Heart Hospital. She would always brighten my day and we shared special times just talking or laughing. She always knew how to make things better. She will be truly missed and she is in a better place. I love and miss her!

I worked with Ms. Eleanor at the AHH. She was like a second mom to me. We laughed , we cried, we told each other secrets and we helped each other out. I will always love her. she will always be in my heart. You will be missed dearly..... love you sweet lady....
