Evelyn M. (Jewell) Edelhuber, 92 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017 in Paris. She was born on September 23, 1924 in Scranton, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gambling, going to the casino, attending the horse races with her friends and family and caring for her many cats. Evelyn was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Mother's Society in Paris, the American Legion and the Catholic War Veterans.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James B. Jewell and Rose (Schmitz) Jewell; her biological father who passed away when she was five years old, William Huber; her husband, Alois Bernard Edelhuber; her daughter, Pamela Bowles; two step-brothers, Anthony and Doye Jewell; her infant sister, Irene E. Huber and two great-grandsons.
She is survived by her son, Randy Edelhuber of Fort Smith; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A rosary service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris officiated by Fr. Eugene Luke O.S.B.. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Edelhuber, Stephen Edelhuber, Gene Dahlem, Hamilton Scott, Steve Precott and Darrell Cline.
Honorary pallbearers will be her caregivers, Lottie Klyne, Bob Dahlem and Jim Fletcher.
