I was saddened to receive the news of the passing of my former neighbor Mr. Brown. I have deep and warm memories of him as both the father of Ritchie and a wonderful neighbor who was a strong and positive influence on my childhood. When I look back as an adult on his contribution to my development, that influence cannot be measured. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Brown Family.

I am sorry to hear about Jim's passing, a truly fine gentleman. I was glad to have the opportunity to talk to him last week.

Jim, I always said, that as great of an engineer he was , he was a better teacher. He took a young man, fresh out of college and taught him the principles of structure in a style even he could understand. This contributed to what ever success I have had in my profession in construction. I will always be grateful for his knowledge.

Jim did not wear his religion on his sleeve, but you knew that he was a Christian by the way he lived life. Never critical, never judgmental. Although I did not have the opportunity to talk very often, I cherished the times I did. I will always remember him and I will always be grateful for him, and miss him.

On behalf of the Harold Bryant family, we extend our heartfelt condolences. No finer man graced this earth. No finer angel (with my dad) graces Heaven. Jim was a man of character, a man with honor & integrity, in everything
he did, with every person he met. I'm humbled to have known such a man. Godspeed and prayers for his family.
